Terms of Order
These terms of order in no way affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
No contract will subsist between you and Climpson and Sons (webcoffeeshop.co.uk) for the sale by it to you of any product unless and until Climpson and Sons (webcoffeeshop.co.uk) accepts your order by e-mail confirming that it has dispatched your product. That acceptance will be deemed complete and will be deemed for all purposes to have been effectively communicated to you at the time Climpson and Sons (webcoffeeshop.co.uk) sends the e-mail to you (whether or not you receive that e-mail). Climpson and Sons (webcoffeeshop.co.uk) reserves the right refuse any order which is deemed to have not been conducted in the correct way or where any foul play may have taken place. Climpson and Sons (webcoffeeshop.co.uk) also retains the right to not complete any order it wishes to do so providing that the monies have not been taken or a full refund is given. By placing an order and giving credit card details on our secure server you the consumer is bound and contracted to complete the sale unless Climpson and Sons (webcoffeeshop.co.uk) decides otherwise.

Refund Policy
If goods are returned due to being faulty, so long as they are returned within a reasonable time the remedy afforded to the customer, under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (as amended), is a refund. Also, where a consumer exercises his cancellation rights the customer will be given a refund within 30 days of their cancellation.

Payment Methods
Climpson and Sons (webcoffeeshop.co.uk) accepts payments from most major credit cards (Solo, Switch, Visa, Delta, Mastercard, American Express and Dinners Club). All of our transactions are processed through paypal.com using a secure encrypted server. Normally payments are processed and confirmed within 24hrs, but could take up to 96hrs to confirm by paypay.com.

Delivery
Normally orders are processed within 1 business day of confirmed payment, and shipped via Royal Mail First Class. Expect delivery of your order within 28 days although most items will be recieved within 48-72 hrs. If we cannot ship the goods within this time we will tell the consumer immediately and agree on another time for shipment. If we cannot agree on another time, we will offer the consumer a refund.

Delivery prices
Delivery prices are priced on weight and will be added automatically when an order is placed. This will be broken down into the component of price of goods and delivery charge. The final price will be in pounds sterling (unless otherwise stated).

Cancellation Rights
You the consumer are given the right to cancel as required by the Distance Selling Regulations (to not include beans that are ground to your personal specification). You the consumer have the right to cancel your order without giving a reason. The cancellation period in the case of contracts for the supply of goods begins with the day on which the contract is concluded. The cancellation period ends on the expiry of 7 working days, beginning on the day after the day on which the consumer receives the goods. You the consumer may be required to return the goods at your own expense. Further information on this can be found on the Office of Fair Trading website at http://www.oft.gov.uk/advice_and_resources/resource_base/legal/distance-selling-regulations/. Items must be returned in the condition they were sent and be unopened. Roasted coffee is excluded from these terms.

Handling Complaints
We will in every case acknowledge complaints within 5 working days.
We will in every case advise the consumer how long it will take to resolve the complaint.
We will in every case keep the consumer informed throughout the process.

What information is collected and how?
When you order, we need to know your name, e-mail address, delivery address, credit or debit card number and the cards expiry date. This allows us to process and fulfil your orders and to notify you of the status of your order, we do not store any financial infomation.
When you enter a contest or other promotional feature, we may ask for your name, address and e-mail address so we can administer the contest and notify winners.

How does Climpson and Sons (webcoffeeshop.co.uk) protect customer information?
When you place orders or access your account information, we use paypal.com for our secure server. The secure server software (SSL) encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us.
All of our email addresses and information is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

Climpson and Sons (webcoffeeshop.co.uk) does not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others.

Shipping & Returns
Our postage system is easy to understand. Postage is added at the checkout stage depending on how heavy (in weight) your order is.
For UK Delivery expect delivery of your order within 28 days, although most items will normally be dispatched within 1 business day and received within 48-72 hrs. If we cannot ship the goods within this time we will tell you the customer immediately and agree on another time for shipment. If we cannot agree on another time, we will offer you the customer a refund.
Climpson and Sons (webcoffeeshop.co.uk) retains the right to choose the method of postage. Alternative equivalents may be chosen regardless of the method decided at the checkout area.
